Do any romantic men exist?

No. If they cannot for me, they cannot for you. Men are missing a few genes - a few you’s and me’s. They simply, cannot & will not understand what we want. Apart from Chuck Bass.

This is what we all want – good old fashioned spice. Then we’re having a good time. Here are some tips, listen up boys

1. A text is not romantic, unless it is from the heart

2. Cliches make me sick - I am not a baby, 'love' explains nothing

And

3. However much attention you give me, I will always want more.

To be fair to the humble lad, television and the words of others have distorted my mind. I do expect the unrealistic, I do expect too much & this I blame entirely on David Bowie’s valentine evenings and commercial love’s expectations. I want my happy ever ever after.

So what can we disenchanted women do? Rise up.

But seriously, how can you force a man into doing something he seems unable to process? First, we must ensure we are romantic – hypocrisy is the greatest sin. Secondly, reminders of our expectations must be slipped into conversation & Thirdly we must stop watching romantic comedies.
